Italy Part III: The Food

Good morning! How was your weekend? Mine was a whirlwind of catch up meals with friends, work for the blog (we shot the next event for this series!), and some much needed house cleaning. My bathroom is sparkling, in case anyone would like to come over.

Today I’m sharing the last edition of photos from our trip. The trip feels so far away at this point, but looking at these photos brings me right back. Fair warning- this post is going to make you want one big plate of pasta. I’m longing for a steaming bowl of Bucatini All’Amatriciana, my favorite dish of the trip, right now! Vacation Photos Part II: Rome

On to Rome! After four days in Capri we hopped back on the ferry and train and made the trek back to Rome. I’ve visited the majority of big European cities but never been to Rome, so I was really excited to spend some solid time there. I fell most in love with the architecture and gorgeous hues of the buildings (like most people I’m sure!) We hit all the tourist high points while we were there (the Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, and so on), but truthfully my favorite way to explore a big European city is…

Vacation Photos Part I: Capri

I’m so excited to share some vacation photos with you! We took a lot, so I’m going to spread the photos across two (or maybe three…) days, and I’ve decided to dedicate one whole post to food- so food photos to come!

When booking our trip on Italy, the plan was always to go to Rome as the whole reason for going was to see my dad’s latest art show. But since we were flying all the way over there, we decided to extend the trip and visit another part of Italy, too. Initially I had my heart set on the Amalfi Coast, but somewhere along in my research I got hooked on Capri. I mean… how can you not from these photos?? I loved the idea of visiting an island and given the amount of time we had, it seemed like the perfect place.
