Aaah… I’m a little late, but happy new year to you all! I’m not very good about taking time to reflect on the previous year, which is why I got lazy about doing a wrap up post for 2011. But I suppose I should be more excited, a lot did happen this year. We moved . We traveled to three new countries. I started working for myself. And I started this little blog. In fact, this little blog turns 1 today. Part of me is proud, and the other part just wants to keep moving forward. There’s so much more I want to do in this space, it’s hard to feel like I’ve accomplished enough this year. But if I had to pick a New Year’s resolution I know I should make, it would be to be less hard on myself. So I’m going to attempt to feel good about all the work that’s gone into this! And really, what makes me feel the best, is all of you who take the time to read, comment, and tell me what you’re cooking. It’s awesome. So without further ado, here’s a quick look back at some of the most popular posts from the year. Here’s to much more in 2012! xx
Congrats on your first year of blogging!
Happy Birthday, Channeling Contessa! Look forward to seeing what evolves for you in 2012. Cheers!

Same to you!

Your pics inspire me to want to learn how to photograph food… I enjoy cooking and taking pictures of the process. My pics are so inconsistent. But maybe 2012 will be the year I figure it out! Happy New Year
Jeanne, that’s so sweet of you to say! I have to admit, my whole learning process has really just been trial by error, I feel like I have so much more to learn. But it’s fun getting into it and slowly seeing myself improve.
Happy first birthday! Your blog is great and I hope 2012 is even better than the last.
Thank you, Emily! That means so much to me.
Happy Blogiversary! Turning a year is a big deal. Congrats to you Clara.
